The New York Times Bestelling New Adult Romance

People come into our lives. Some stay, and many go. Some build us up, while most tear us down. They become our friends, our enemies, our lovers, our tormentors. Christian Davison came into mine, and I knew I’d never be the same.

To Elizabeth Ayers, New York City had always been a dream. She’s worked her entire young life to make it here.

Groomed to one day take over his father’s law firm, attending Columbia University was Christian Davison’s only option.

Neither wanted anything more until they sat across from each other at a café table after being paired as study partners. Christian wants her, but Elizabeth knows better than to give into their intense attraction. Yet there is little she can do to stay away.

My ****4.5 Star**** Review

LOVE THIS BOOK! Hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year. I’m only regretting that I’m taking so very long to catch up! Prior to 2015, I hadn’t read a single A.L. Jackson book, but had many on my TBR. Now, I’m rushing through them! I have loved every book so far!

I really liked Elizabeth! She’s smart, intuitive, and just has her head on straight. She’s attracted to Christian, but she knows he gets around and she won’t stoop to that. Oh, but Christian starts to make changes because Elizabeth has flipped his world upside down. The crazy thing is, they’re just friends, and Christian doesn’t even want to try for more.

Having the great friendship bond strengthens everything for them, though. You see just how honorable Christian is in his behavior towards Elizabeth.

Apparently, Elizabeth was missing an important distinction. I wasn’t trying to get into her panties. I was trying desperately not to.

There’s more to the plot, though. Elizabeth isn’t from high society, and Christian’s father isn’t cool with any sort of relationship between them. This just heats things up, though. You’ll experience some very sigh worthy moments, but there will also be pain.

Overall this book is just incredibly sweet with a tad bit of sexy. I can not wait to read more of Ms. Jackson’s books!! I highly recommend this to any romance lovers out there!!
