The Sunday Post ~ 4/26/15

The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @

Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I hope you are all having a pleasant Sunday! If all goes as planned, it’ll be a day of rest for me, which of course includes reading! Most of my days include baseball right now, so it’ll be nice to have a day free from the ballpark. I had a decent posting week. The only day I didn’t manage to get a post up was Thursday. I was running all day and didn’t get home till late from a ballgame that night. I came home exhausted and ready for bed. I obviously am not so great at preparing posts ahead of time. Every time that I start to get ahead on posts, life happens.

Goals and Challenges:
Goodreads ~ I read 3 more books this week, bringing my total for the year to 71. My goal is 150. I’m 24 books ahead of schedule right now.

Finishing the Series Reading Challenge ~ My goal for this challenge was 4 series. I didn’t read anything to count towards this this week. Two of the books I read this week are book 1 in their series, and book 2 hasn’t been released for them yet. But, I’ve already surpassed my goal. I’ve completed or caught up on 10 series so far this year.

2015 New Release Challenge ~ I read 2 new releases this week, bringing my total to 23 of my goal of 45. I’m now at my half way point, so I’m ahead of schedule.

Books Read Last Week:
The Distance Between Lost and Found by Kathryn Holmes
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Books I Made Progress on Last Week:
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (reread)
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
Kitty Hawk and the Hunt for Hemingway’s Ghost by Iain Reading
The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne

That sums up my progress for last week, and lets you know a little of what I have planned for the week. I’d love to hear how things are in your book world!!

Happy Reading,

Alison

    • I really enjoyed Red Queen! It’ll be tough waiting till next year for book 2. I try to schedule posts ahead of time, but then things get crazy and then I’m back to having no scheduled posts. I’ve been more organized as a whole this year, so hopefully I’ll continue improving. 🙂
