Stacking the Shelves ~ 5/18/19

Ali here ~

Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This weekend is a lot more chill than last. Last night I went out to eat to celebrate my besties bday. Today my fam is going to my brother’s to have a cook out. I’m hoping the rain will stay away. It seems we haven’t gone a week all year without rain. We’ll see.
Before I get into my haul this week, I wanted to share a pic of an awesome package that I got last week from Craves the Angst. Y’all be sure to go give them some love if you’re not already following! I already shared the books, but I didn’t get to share the whole pic.

And now onto the books I picked up this week. I have to share that I had a considerable amount of self control yesterday!!! I went grocery shopping and of course I had to stop by the books and I couldn’t pass this up when I came upon it ~

I’ve seen this a lot over the past week and I had already added it to my TBR. But, all my restraint came last night!!! After going out to eat with my besties, I decided to drop by Barnes & Noble – and I walked out without buying any books!!!! I know. Y’all might want to check my temperature. I think I might be sick. Really, I just knew that I had just spent a fortune on my oldest’s graduation, and I’ve already plowed through all my allotted money for books, so I behaved. I’m patting myself on the back!

And speaking of behaving…the only other books I picked up this week were these ~

I picked up Courtside Crush because it was free for a few days and I had already considered the series. The Two-Week Arrangement is an e-arc I got this week.

That’s my haul for this week. What great reads did you pick up???

    • The bookstore is not anywhere near us, so I’m usually safe. But it was near the restaurant I met my friends at, so of course I had to go in. I still can’t believe I walked out without a book.
