Ali here ~
A steamy romance about a sexy (but emotionally broken) single dad and the smart, driven (doesn’t take no for an answer) intern who makes him feel things he has no business feeling.
About The Two-Week Arrangement
Dear Sexy AF Intern,
I know you don’t particularly care that I’m the CEO of this company, and you’re just an intern. I also know you’re not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that’s fine.
You think you’ve got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don’t know me. Not really.
You don’t know that I’m a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.
I’m not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we’re in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I’m figuring out which I want more–to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.
While you’re too disciplined to act on it, I’m not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.
****Ali’s 3.5 Star Review****
This review is a tough one for me. There were lots of things I loved about this book and a few I didn’t. For starters – the writing style. I love that Kendall can suck you right in quickly and her words flow smoothly. I don’t have to worry about choppy sentences and dialogue. As with all of Kendall’s books I was reeled right in and flipping pages as quickly as possible!
The next thing I really liked was the chemistry between Dom and Presley. It was palpable! Their coming together was totally HOT, too!
And then one more thing – Dom’s daughters. They were just cuteness personified!
I had a little trouble with connecting completely to Dom and Presley, though, as individuals. I can’t say that I don’t care about them because I do. BUT, there were definitely some things they both did that drove me up the wall. I wanted to kick both of their butts!! They both did things that I just couldn’t respect.
And then there’s one more thing that drove me a little batty…the book just ended. I’m talking right in the middle of the story, and I had no warning. Fortunately I don’t have to wait long for the next book because I do want to see where things go for both Dom & Presley.
