#SixforSunday is hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot. Every week there is a bookish-themed prompt to inspire 6 choices.
Today’s topic is Couples Who Need a Sequel. Two are classics, so obviously the authors aren’t around to give us sequels, but I want them anyways. I also have some that are just impossible, and if you’ve read the book then you know why.
Emma and Mr. Knightley. Emma finally grows up and figures things out in the end. Well and that’s the end. I want to know how things continued to progress for her and Knightley!
If you’ve read Honest Illusions (one of my ALL-TIME FAVES!!!) you know that with Luke and Roxy’s lifestyle, there’s bound to be more crazy adventures along the way. And well, I just want more of them!!
I really want to know how Jane and Rochester get along after the place burns down and there’s no wife to contend with!
Emi & Nate. Ugh! At the end of this book I was just DONE. Dumbfounded. I mean. WHY?!?! Even after reading the whole series, I still wanted more Emi & Nate!!!
Hmm. I don’t want to say much because I don’t want to give anything away…If you’ve read the book, you know where I’m coming from. But you might also be questioning my sanity. But hey, Tarryn Fisher will do that to you!
Definitely would love to have more Fallon & Ben!
Which couples do you want more of???
Happy Reading,
Ali
Totally agree with Emma! It would be awesome to see more of the banter between Mr. Knightley and Emma ❤

I have the worst of luck with ships…. They rarely set sail! But I would love for authors to write sequels/prequels about them. Hopefully, one day, they’ll think about it 🙂
Great list! I loved Emma and Knightley in the BBC mini-series but have yet to read the book, I’m afraid.

Ooh, I’m so curious about Mud Vein. I added that to my TBR list last month after hearing many recommending that book after reading and loving Verity. Can’t wait to get into it!

Let me just say that I thought I had that book figured out about a hundred times and I was ALWAYS wrong!
