WWW Wednesday ~ 7/3/19

Ali here ~

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll soon be posting my 4.5 star review for Office Mate, so stay tuned!
I gave A Darker Shade of Magic 4 stars. You can see my thoughts HERE.
I gave Engaging Mr. Darcy 4.5 stars. See my review HERE.
I gave Jane Austen: A Life From Beginning to End 4 stars. It’s a great piece for seeing what was going on in Jane’s life as she wrote her novels. It’s a super short biography making for a quick educational read.

I’m just guessing when it comes to what I’m going to pick up next. I just finished my current kindle read and my physical copy read, so I’ll be picking up something to replace both. I’m just not 100%, but these are the two books I’m currently leaning towards.
What are your WWWs today???

  1. Hello currently reading: 1) The Bully Pulpit by Doris Kearns Goodwin/nonfiction–this is sort of long term project read–large hard back cannot tote it to work on the train. 2) Sakura Park poetry collection by Rachel Weetzsteon and 3) Re-reading Persuasion by Jane Austen — I usually like to read/re-read it in summer/one of my quirks. Happy reading all!

    • I totally get the rereading quirk. I’m so with you! I’m currently rereading Austen’s Emma & Sense and Sensibility. I wanted to reread them as a part of two seperate groups this month and since I’m participating in #janeaustenjuly.

  2. ADSOM and Heir of Fire (I love the ToG series) 😍 I still need to read Red Rising, but I’ve heard so many good things about that series! I hope I can get to it this year lol always so many books and so little time! Happy reading 🙂

    • I love the ToG series, too! I’m rereading it while my mom and son are reading it for the first time. I haven’t read the last couple books yet, though. Red Rising had been on my TBR forever. Like you said, so many books and so little time!

  3. I hope you are enjoying Heir Of Fire! And I’m actually currently reading the fifth Harry Potter book as well, although I’m rereading it in Spanish. Also, I’ve been meaning to read Red Rising for years now! It sounds so good… Have a wonderful week and happy reading! xx
