#IMWAYR ~ 7/8/19

Ali here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Nothing. So weird, I know. I’ve actually been reading a LOT, but I have a ton of different books going right now for group reads, so I haven’t finished anything. I just get in a few chapters with each book every day right now.

Red Rising is the only book here that isn’t part of a group read. It’s my current kindle read.

Villette is the only book here that isn’t part a group read. It’s the current physical copy I pick up during the day.

WHAT I’M READING NEXT (subject to change)

This is a reread for me. I want to catch up with this series, but it’s been so long since I’ve read this one.

  1. I also like to read a shelf-full of books at a time, so I can make progress in whatever I’m in the mood for at any moment. I’ve used the TV show analogy when people look at me funny. So I think you had a great reading week!

    • I love that I’m reading most as group reads and we can talk about them. That’s enjoyable to me whether I really love the book or not. The books themselves are a mix of ones I really love (Emma) and some that I don’t care for so much (Anna Karenina).

  2. Nice looking bunch of books. I’m a one-book-at-a-time reader and envy anyone who can have more than one book in process at a time. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
