Top Ten Tuesday ~ Best Bad Boys I’ve Read in 2019

Ali here ~

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start! Today’s Top Ten topic is Character Freebie (any topic you want that deals with book characters!).

So many of us love our bad boys! What is it about a bad boy being good to his woman that gets us? Hmm. Sounds like a topic for another post. Here’s my top 10 favorite bad boys that I’ve read this year (in no particular order) ~

This is a three-for-oner! Maddoc, Royce, and Captain are just the ultimate bad boys that you just can’t help but love.

Hagen Lykaios is the first bad boy in Sienna Snow’s God’s of Vegas series and he kicked things off right!

Senator Wolfe Keaton is out for revenge in a big way, but watching him oh so slowly soften is just everything.

This book is aptly named for River Wild. River’s tough exterior is hiding a very dark past. I was completely broken for him, but this bad boy won’t let you feel sorry for him long. This book, and character, will stick with you!!

Dante. When you finish Caraval, you will despise this bad boy, and by the time Legendary is over, you’ll be in love! I just love when an author can manage to flip my opinion of a character!

Qhuinn is another example of a guy with a dark past that just won’t let you go feeling sorry for him long!

Zayne keeps himself closed off from everyone but you’ll soon be mush over what’s hiding under his tough exterior.

Christiano de la Rosa. Hmm. Now this is a unique one here. I can tell that I want so badly to love this bad boy. I can feel it coming, but I’m afraid Jessica Hawkins is going to destroy my heart here. I haven’t even picked up book 2 yet because I’m scared of what I’ll be waiting on till book 3 comes out. I’m just not sure I’m brave enough.

Silas has done some nasty things if he’s supposed to be in love with Charlie. But you so get it!

Gunnar greets you right off the bat as one seriously pompous A-hole. In the end he’ll have you melting, melting, melting!

Are you into bad boys? If so, which bad boys have stood out to you this year???

Happy Reading,

  1. This is a fun choice for the TTT prompt! I kind of had a similar idea with the bad thing. I just went for a list of the WORST characters ever haha.

  2. Omg I know that bad boys aren’t the best, especially in real life, but I AM SUCH A SUCKED FOR THEM. Especially when they warm up to their love interests! This was such a great list, and i sadly haven’t read any of the books here :(( Dante sounds so interesting though and I’ve been debating whether to add Caraval to my TBR for yearsss

    • I agree, definitely not great for real life, but are so awesome to read about! Glad I gave you some new bad boys to enjoy. I haven’t read the last book in the Caraval series yet, so I’m anxious to see how I’ll feel about Dante when it’s all over.
