Top Ten Tuesday ~ Auto-Buy Authors

Ali here ~

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start! Today’s Top Ten topic is Auto-Buy Authors.

Auto-Buy is definitely too strong a word for me, but I’ll say these are authors I have read and probably will continue to read a lot of. The only reason they aren’t auto-buy is because I don’t have an infinite book budget. These are in no particular order ~

Colleen Hoover

Finding Cinderella was my first CoHo book. I quickly followed it up with all her previous books!

A.L. Jackson

Pieces of Us was the book I was most looking forward to this year, and it did not let me down!!

Cassandra Clare

I thoroughly enjoy the Shadowhunter world Cassandra has created!

Jennifer L Armentrout

I thoroughly enjoy JLA’s PNR books!

Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

I am a big fan of Penelope Ward’s writing alone. When she teams up with Vi Keeland, even better!

Mia Sheridan

I just can’t go wrong with a Mia Sheridan book!

Winter Renshaw

Winter is definitely one of my favorite contemporary romance authors!

Sarah J. Maas

I have thoroughly loved these series and I can’t wait for her next one!

Jessica Sorensen

I enjoy both the contemporary and PNR books Jessica puts out!

J.R. Ward

Okay. So this is only one series, but come on. It’s a LOT of books!! And they’re quite LONG. I also fully intend to start her Legacy series after I work my way through all the BDB books…if I ever catch up.

Who are your auto-buy authors???
Happy Reading,

  1. WOO! Great picks! I feel like I obviously have to call out the fact that you have taste and ALSO YES CASSANDRA CLARE. Side note, towards SJM this time, I realllly need to reread A Court of Thorns and Roses. Ugh, such a fun series!!

    • Aww, thanks! I’d like to reread ACOTAR, too, at some point. I’m rereading her TOG series right now building up to finishing the last couple books. I’m on Queen of Shadows right now.

  2. SJM and Cassandra Clare are two of the few fantasy authors I have read from. I like their books, and will be there every time for a new one. CoHo is always a sure bet for some ugly crying, and you know, I’m in for that too.
