I had to DNF Torre’s Hidden Seams. I just wasn’t feeling it, and there were too many other books that I was dying to read! I might try to pick it back up later just because I have loved all of Torre’s other books.

Oh boy The Burning Shadow ends in a worse cliffhanger than the first book? Here’s to a year-long wait that probably won’t be avoided because I’m so invested at this point

It’s not as cliffhangerish as one book in particular that I’m remembering from the Lux series. If you’ve read that series, then you know what I mean. It’ll end with you getting answers to what’s going on, but when you get those answers, it’s over. Soooo, you’re like WHAT?!? How are they going to deal with this!?! It was really good, though!!
