Quips & Quotes 10/27/19

I LOVE keeping track of quotes that speak to me. Some turn me to mush. Some are profound and make me think. Some are just funny or entertaining. I often include a quote or two in my reviews, but I thought it would be fun to start a weekly post sharing my favorites from the previous week. So, without further ado, here’s my first Quips & Quotes post!

“Tell me that doesn’t sound like a heaping helping of crazy, with bizarre gravy, and a slice of mashed loco for Cocoa Puffs.”

“Think of how much better the world would be if people craved compliments about the beauty of their heart rather than the beauty of their face.”

“The impure are confounding to the righteous.”

“Some gifts are more painful than insults.”

“Money and position aren’t what make a lady. It’s what’s inside you that counts.”

“It is impossible to know how many years a human will live, or in what manner they will die. Life is like the oil within a lamp. It can be measured, but the pace at which it burns depends upon how the dial is turned day by day, how bright and fierce the flame. And there is no predicting whether the lamp might be knocked to the ground and shatter, when it could have blazed on a great while longer. Such is the unpredictability of life.”

These are my favorite quotes this week! I love reading quotes so if you do a quotes post be sure to leave a link in the comments for me to check them out!
