The dog is cute. BUT, throw it in with the meaning of the book, and well…gross. So, thanks for removing the dog on this one!
ABRAXOS | A book that’s better on the inside than it looks on the outside
I’m sure many would disagree with me, but I just don’t love this cover. However, I really enjoyed the book!
ERILEA | A series with great world-building
I think Cassandra Clare did a marvelous job creating the Shadowhunter world!!
RIFTHOLD | A book that combines genres
I absolutely adore this book, and it really encompasses several genres. It’s like a contemporary and a fairy tale all in one. And let me not forget to mention the mystery!
DAMARIS | A book based on/inspired by a myth/legend
This book is so Aladdin/Arabian Nights. I absolutely adore it!!
KALTAIN ROMPIER | A book with an unexpected twist
This book ends with one of the most unforgettable plot twists!!
ASSASSIN’S KEEP | A book with an unreliable narrator
This book definitely fits the mark for an unreliable character!
ASTERIN BLACKBEAK | A book that’s got squad goals
This book always comes to mind when I think of great squads!!
TERRASEN | A book that feels like home
There are multiple ways to interpret this category. I haven’t read any books that truly encompass what my home feels like. But, in another sense, reading Twilight is like coming home for me. Whenever I need a pick me up, I revisit this book and it’s always feels like coming home.
AELIN ASHRYVER GALATHYNIUS | A book with the power to destroy you
I read this book towards the beginning of the year, and it still hasn’t let me go. River’s story just wrecked me. Thank God it also rebuilt me!
MANON BLACKBEAK | A book that intimidated you
I remembered feeling very intimidated by this book, but I am oh so glad I gave in and read it!!
ROWAN WHITETHORN | A book that makes you swoon
Michael’s patience and understanding is just everything!!
CHAOL WESTFALL | A book that challenged you to see things differently
Holden definitely challenges you to live your best life!!
FLEETFOOT | A book you received as a gift
My brother and his wife bought me this beauty!
EYE OF ELENA | A book you found right when you needed it
I really needed the whole fairy tale scene when I picked this book up, and I just didn’t know it. It had been far too long!
I Tag: You and well anyone else that wants to participate!!
Happy Reading,
Ali
I love seeing a Mia Sheridan on your list. She’s one of my favorites. I still haven’t read The Wish Collector yet, though.

The Wish Collector is my absolute favorite of her books. That being said, I still have a lot of hers that I haven’t read yet. But, The Wish Collector was my favorite of the books I read in 2018, so that’s still high praise! I’ve even been thinking of rereading it soon because I loved it so much.
