Have you ever tried a new author, LOVED their book, but just never picked up another one? I. Am. Guilty.
This is a list of authors that I’ve only read one or two books from. Each of these books I gave 4.5 – 5 stars to, but I haven’t read more yet. So, I’ve made this list of authors that I’m determined to read more from in 2020! The books shown are the one(s) I’ve read and loved.
Christina Lauren
Amy Harmon
L.J. Shen
Mariana Zapata
Kristin Hannah
Brittainy C. Cherry
Emma Scott
Samantha Towle
Do you have any authors that you definitely need to read more of???
Happy Reading,
Ali
I haven’t heard of half of these authors but it’s a big yes from me for Zapata, Hannah and CLo 😍Another romance author I’m looking forward to reading more of is Meghan Quinn! Really glad I discovered her this year too. Great post, Ali!

What’s your favorite Meghan Quinn book? I have only read one of hers so far, and while I enjoyed it, I didn’t love it. But, I’ve been wanting to try more of hers because so many people love her books.

Which one did you read? My first of hers was That Second Chance from her Getting Lucky series (the third book is coming out in February)! I also really enjoyed The Dugout 😍

I have read quite a few CLo and Emma Scott books, Emma Scott always makes me cry, and CLo always manages to make me laugh. I have only read one Brittany Cherry book, but man! My emotions!

Yes, Emma Scott tore me down and built me back up. I love when an author can do that!

Amy Harmon is one of my absolute favorite authors! I just love how diverse her books are… I’ve read most of them already and plan to read the remaining titles next year; funnily enough I haven’t read The Law Of Moses yet haha. And I want to read more of Kristin Hannah next year as well!

It’s on my list for 2020! I’m going to pick up The Bird And The Sword and her newest first though most likely…

I hope to get to those, too!

I do this as well and think it’s because I love an author so much I am afraid if I read another series it might not be as good as I expected 😕. I am, however, trying to read more of my favourite author – Jennifer L Armentrout and is one of my main bookish goals for 2020 ! xx

I do the same thing a lot. It’s like, wow, I discovered an awesome new author! And then never get around to anything else by them. LOL There’s just Too Many Books to read! 🙂 I love Christina Lauren. And Amy Harmon is one of my favorites. She’s written some of my favorite books (like From Sand and Ash). Krisitn Hannah is practically an auto-buy for me. I think I’ve read everything of hers except The Great Alone. Yes to Brittainy C. Cherry! I read one, loved it… and have yet to read anything else by her. Emma Scott… I adore her but she makes me sob every time.

I just added From Sand and Ash to my TBR. I know I want to read What the Wind Knows, but hopefully I can at least squeeze both of these in. Emma Scott makes me cry, too, but then she rebuilds me and makes it worth it. I think that’s why I love her so much! Most authors don’t have that sort of power over me! LOL!
