#ohwhatfunreadathon Wrap-Up

This is always such a crazy busy time for me. So, it’s nice finding an extra excuse like a readathon, to make myself slow down for a bit and spend some time reading. I went into #ohwhatfunreadathon with very little expectations. I knew I wanted to focus mostly on the nice list but figured I might get to the naughty list a little, too. Let’s see how I did. Drum roll ~

The readathon took place from Dec. 14th – 21st. For all the info on the readathon, go see Mackenzie Lane HERE.

– – – THE CHALLENGES! (And my picks) – – –

NICE –

1. Read a book set during winter/Christmas

I only just started this one. So, not a complete success, but not a total failure. LOL!

2. Read a book with “light” in the title

I finished this one!

3. Read the 25th book on your TBR

I finished this one!

4. Read an entire book in Christmas pajamas

Fail but not a total fail. I didn’t read a WHOLE book in my PJs. Honestly, I think I only failed because I forgot that the prompt was for a whole book. OH well.

5. Read a book published in December (of any year!)

Done! So, that’s 3 out of 5 for the nice list with a partial on the other two prompts.

NAUGHTY –

1. Read a banned book

Nope

2. Read a book you got for Christmas last year (but never read)

Nope

3. Start a new book at midnight

Yes! I started Bitter Sweet Love at Midnight.

4. Read a book with “dark” in the title

Read and LOVED!!!

5. Read the 13th book on your TBR

Nope

GROUP BOOK: ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens

I just finished reading this before the readathon started so I didn’t pick it back up. So, 2 out of 5 for the naughty list.

That’s a total of 5 out of 10. That’s definitely not bad for me this time of year! I’m definitely pleased with what I accomplished!

Did you participate in #ohwhatfunreadathon or any other readathons this month?

Happy Reading,

Ali
