What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
Hmm. This is a toughy for me! Bookishly speaking, I don’t have one. I don’t feel guilty about what I read. I own it all. LOL! But, if we’re not limited to books here….
If you had to pick only three books/series to read for the rest of your life, which ones would you choose?
These are all meant to represent their series. Let me say that this is a cruel question, Nikita!!! LOL! It’s way too hard to pick!! I had to pick Twilight because it got me started with my LOVE for reading. The other two are favorites that I could reread forever and be content doing it.
Do you remember the first book you read? If yes, which one was it?
I do not remember. I had a lot of books as a kid and was reading from a very early age. But, as mentioned above, it wasn’t until Twilight that I recognized that I could LOVE to read.
How much do you read every day?
This varies GREATLY! I may only read 30 minutes in bed at night before I pass out reading, or I may spend almost the whole day reading (this rarely happens, but it does sometimes).
Do you have a bad book habit? If yes, what’s it?
Hmm. I don’t think so. I might think of one later, though.
Do you snack while reading a book? What are your favorite snacks to have while reading?
I have snacked while reading a book, but it’s not a usual thing. My favorite snack if I’m reading a book, though, is a bit of peanut butter in a cup with some chocolate chips mixed in. I eat with a spoon. Yes, several people have told me it’s weird. But, it’s totally yummy!
Is English your native language? Do you read books in other languages?
English is my native language. I have read some children’s books in Spanish, but nothing else yet. It’s a long-term goal of mine to be able to read bigger books in other languages. I’ve been tempted to pick up a Latin version of Harry Potter and translate it. I’m a geek like that. I know. Being a homeschool mom, I have had an introduction to a lot of other languages: Latin, Greek, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese have all been studied to differing extents. Unfortunately I’m not fluent in any. I’m working on getting there with Spanish this year.
