The Sunday Post ~ 1/26/20

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Happy Sunday!! I hope you are all having a terrific start to your week!

Personal Highlights:

Sunday: Church Sunday morning and then I took my youngest 2 to youth group that evening. Afterwards we stopped at Sonic to get everyone a treat. In between I processed about 15lbs of deer meat with the hubby. I did manage to squeeze in some reading and finished Addicted to You and started Vanishing Summer.
Monday: The usual blogging, homeschooling, chores, and reading. I finished Vanishing Summer and started Destroy Me.
Tuesday: I woke up to the slightest bit of accumulation of sleet/snow being washed away by the rain. It’s the first we’ve seen of any this winter. Those of you from up north can laugh at my picture all you want! LOL!

Fingers crossed that we’ll get some real accumulation before the winter is done with us. It rained most of the day. I finished both Destroy Me and Fracture Me, realizing I’m addicted to this series! Then I started What the Wind Knows. Other than that, it was the usual blogging, chores, and homeschooling.
Thursday: Had our weekly homeschooling group class at our house. After that is was dinner and chores. I did squeeze in a board game, Cosmic Encounters, with my boys.
Friday: Grocery shopping, and then homeschooling and chores with a tiny bit of blogging. I finished Immortal Fire!! It was AMAZEBALLS!!! I so love this series! Those of you that enjoy fantasy with romance, I HIGHLY suggest it. Right after finishing it, I downloaded Ignite Me to start listening to it, because by now you must know I’m addicted to this series at the moment.
Saturday: I’m writing this Friday, so it’s subject to change, but I plan on hiking in the morning with my mom at our local nature park, and then I’m hosting a Game Night at our house for some of our friends tomorrow evening.

  2. I also really enjoy Annette Marie but haven’t started that series. I’m listening to Slaying Monsters for the Feeble right now.

I’m enjoying the mild weather because of projects I want to do. I hope you have another great week and enjoy some wonderful books.

  3. Sounds like you had a pretty good week and you managed to read a lot! I’ve been hearing lots of good things about this Red Winter trilogy so I’m definitely keen to check it out 🙂 Have a great week ahead!

  4. I feel like we’re book twinning big time this week. 🙂 Addicted to You (one of my favorites of all time), Vanishing Summer (loved it), Shatter Me series (love it – even though I’m behind), What the Wind Knows (haven’t started it yet but Harmon is one of my favorite authors ever). So yeah… totally book twinning!
