#IMWAYR ~ 1/27/20

Ali here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Immortal Fire was amazing!!! While I still enjoyed Ignite Me, it was also a little disappointing. But, I’m hopeful that things will improve with the next book. We shall see!

I’m only just picking up Restore Me. I haven’t really gotten into it yet. I only have 100pgs left of my reread of Wuthering Heights. I am so enjoying What the Wind Knows! I knew I needed to read more Amy Harmon!! I’m also enjoying The Night Circus. I’m just trying to figure out where the story is going.

This is the only book left on my TBR for the month. Any others I squeeze in before January is out will be mood reads.

Happy Reading,

    • Thanks! Honestly it was all mood reading for me. I didn’t have any real deadlines. They were all books I was wanting to read when I made my TBR. But I like to have some room to throw in books on top of what I put together a TBR. Hope you get some mood reading in soon!!

  2. I feel like a lot of readers were left wanting more from Ignite Me. The climax was too easy and then it all wrapped up so fast. It was Iike, three books for this?

    • Yes, I can only imagine how I would feel if I thought it was all ending there. That would have been the worst finale ever. I can see in Restore Me that some of the issues I had with Ignite Me are being addressed, but I’ve still got a few issues. I’m hoping to see more growth in Juliette.
