The Sunday Post ~ 2/9/20

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

******************************************

Happy Sunday!! I hope you are all having a terrific start to your week!

Personal Highlights:

Most of the week was blogging, chores, homeschooling, and reading. Friday I went out to lunch with my mom and my kids and then we watched Maleficent: Mistress of Evil that evening after installing a new upright deep freezer with my hubbies help. Yesterday I met up with my besties for lunch at our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant, Ki Mexico. Tex-Mex restaurants are a dime a dozen around here, but authentic Mexican is much rarer here in Lousiana.

This was just a hard decision this week. I finally based my decision on which one I could see myself rereading the most over time. The runners up were Red, White & Royal Blue and Beneath This Mask.

How was your week??? What was your favorite read this week?

Happy Reading,

  2. Glad you had a wholesome week! Being able to spend time with family and friends is a blessing. My week too was great! Currently, I am reading Rise of Gaia for a blog tour. I have come back to blogging after a long time and it feels so good. Your blog is great and you have earned another follower 😁

  3. My upright freezer is now 27 years old and working well.

I loved Alone in the Wild by Kelley Armstrong this week. But also A Cold Trail by Robert Dugoni and Cross Her Heart by Melinda Leigh. I had some great reads.

Have a great week and enjoy your reads!

    • 27 yrs is awesome!! The freezer chest that we just replaced had about 20 yrs on it, which I didn’t think was bad. Sounds like you had a great reading week! Hope you have another one this week!!

    • Well, I understand that. I really hoped to put it in my laundry/pantry room but there wasn’t enough room, so it’s out in my husband’s shop. I hate having to go out there to get anything out of it, but I’m going to focus on just being thankful for it. It’s so much easier to find anything in it than it was with the freezer chest we had. Hope you have a great week!!

  4. Sounds like a fun outing with your friends. I haven’t gone out for Mexican food in quite a while. Seeing that the Kate Stewart book was your favorite of the week makes me want to read something by her sooner rather than later. 🙂
