I really don’t have tons to say about this one. First Adam’s character was jacked with, and now it’s like Juliette’s character has taken a turn I don’t care for. And how is everyone okay with this girl (with zero experience that has been in solitary confinement for years) taking over??? Thank goodness there’s more to the story. If it would have all ended here like it was originally intended to, I’d be so very unhappy. Fortunately, I’ve already read the next book and things get a little better.
A couple good things…I enjoy her relationship with Kenji & I’ve always been #TeamWarner!

Have you read Ignite Me or any of the Shatter Me series? If you start a series and you love it but then it takes a turn you don’t like, do you finish it???
Happy Reading,
Alison

I usually try to finish a series if I’ve already committed and read a couple books in it.

I’m a definitely DNFer. I’d much rather read things I’m enjoying, but I used to HAVE to finish the book or series, so I get that, too. The only reason I’m continuing this series for now is that I’m hoping it’ll return to everything I loved about the first couple books.

When I read this one it was the final in the series so my feelings were mixed. The big climax seemed way too easy and then it ended and I was left wondering what happened next. And of course Adam and Juliette seemed to have personality transplants.

I would have probably given this an even worse review if it was still supposed to be the last one when I read it. I kept thinking about the fact that it was originally the last one when written, and thinking no wonder she had to come back behind it and try to fix a lot of stuff.

Yes. I know this because I’m just that far behind on reviews. LOL! I’d hope to get caught up this past week, but life got in the way, so hopefully this week.

I’ve picked up the second book in this series. Let’s see if I enjoy that one. I did enjoy the first one but I almost forgot most of it lol. 😅

I enjoyed the first two, but the novellas and third book weren’t awesome for me.
