*****4 Stars*****

  • Again, I love getting Warner’s POV. I love his character. I just want him to step up just a little bit more to Juliette. Problem is, I am not enjoying Juliette’s character so much. Why does she feel qualified to take on this role, and why is she so full of pride that she can’t ask for help?
  • The plot – there are some interesting twists, and I’m glad that it’s clear that Mafi is trying to correct some of the issues from book 3.
  • As far as intrigue goes, I am always wanting to know what comes next. The only problem is, that I don’t always like it. But, I remain hopeful, and I’m very curious to see where things are headed now with the big twist at the end.
  • Enjoyment, yes, for the most part, but obviously I still have multiple issues. Overall, though, I was left feeling much better after this book than the third one.

Have you read Restore Me or any of the Shatter Me series? I really enjoy dystopian romances with or without a fantasy/sci-fi aspect. Do you have any recommendations?

Happy Reading,

Alison

    • Thanks! It always has just a little something that is keeping me hooked and not able to put it down. I’m really hoping things will turn in a good direction after some of the twists at the end of this one.
