Title: Fighting for Rain
Series: The Rain Trilogy #2
Author: BB Easton
Release Date: Jan 16, 2020
Genres: Sci-Fi/Dystopian/Romance/NA
Blurb: The world was supposed to end on April 23, but Rainbow Williams’s world ended days before that.
The mass hysteria caused by the impending apocalypse claimed everything she’d ever loved. Her family. Her city. Her will to live.
Until she met him.
Wes Parker didn’t have anything left for the apocalypse to take…he’d already lost it all by the time he was nine-years-old. His family. His home. His hope of ever being loved.
Until he met her.
Brought together by fate and bound by a love that would last lifetimes, Rain and Wes were prepared to die together on April 23.
They were not prepared for what would happen on April 24.

*****3.5 Stars*****
As with the first book, there were tons of things that drove me crazy about this book, but at the same time something so very addictive that makes me not able to put these books down. I believe the overall writing was better in this book than the first. And honestly it’s probably the way that BB writes the chemistry between Rain and Wes that just hooks me so very hard. And there were even some awesome quotes in this one that I had to write down. The angst was also very good! And then that whopper of a cliffhanger…..But I warn you that both Rain and Wes will have you wanting to rip your hair out. Just sayin’!

Have you read Fighting for Rain? If not, are you going to? I really, really love dystopian novels with a great romance mixed in. Have a recommendations for me?
Happy Reading,
Alison

I did like the second book better than the first but this series still drove me a little crazy 😅 Looking forward to seeing what you think of the last book (which imho was the best out of them)! Great review 🙂

I’m with you. So many issues and yet I couldn’t put it down. I’m reading the last book now, and so far I definitely think the writing is better.

This series is definitely not without some major flaws for me. But, as I mentioned there’s something addictive about it that makes it so hard to put down.
