Ali here ~

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

How are all of you doing out there today??? I live in the woods but the two closest cities to me, Shreveport and Bossier, both have coronavirus cases, so things have been locked down tight here. Our busiest streets now look like ghost towns. My mother is a nurse at a hospital in Shreveport and in the thick of things. She’s high risk herself at 61 (62 in a few weeks), but she’s a real trooper.

Overall, I’m feeling pretty blessed right now. I have all my needs and those of my immediate family met. But, I keep thinking of all the people that live paycheck to paycheck and might be really struggling right now, those with anxiety/depression, etc. All I can do is pray, but I hate saying “all” like it’s not much because I truly believe in the power of prayer. So, if you’re feeling anxious or alone, scared or depressed, etc., and need someone to vent to, someone to pray for you, I just wanted to say that I’d love to pray for you or be someone to talk to. We all have to lean on each other. We’re all in this together. Know you’re not alone.

Current physical copy ~ Illuminae
Current kindle copy ~ Dying for Rain
Current audiobook ~ Haven’t started a new one yet.
Current group read ~ American Royals
Current homeschool read ~ Red Winter (Yes, I just finished this at the end of last year,  but I have my students reading it while studying Japanese mythology and they wanted me to read along with them.)

Or something else….you just never know…because I don’t even know…

What are your WWWs today???

Happy Reading,

  2. You keep reminding me I have to find time for The Ten Thousand Doors Of January some time soon… I’ve heard so many fantastic things about that one! xx

    • I just had a friend tell me she read the first little bit and just couldn’t get into it, so that has me a little hesitant to pick it up. But, I’m determined to give it a try! Hope we both end up enjoying it!
