#IMWAYR ~ 3/23/20

Ali here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Whether you’re quarantined, an essential worker, or maybe in one of the rare places that haven’t been hit, I hope you’re finding something to be thankful for today and something to smile about. I got some new flowers just before lock down, so I’m enjoying the fact that they are out in my yard. Too bad it won’t stop raining long enough to really hang out out there. LOL!

Current physical copy ~ Illuminae
Current e-read ~ Truly Madly Royally
Current audiobook ~ Haven’t started a new one yet. Will possibly start one later today.
Current Group Read ~ American Royals & The Family Upstairs
Current Homeschool Read ~ N/A – But will possibly start a reread of Spin the Dawn since my daughter just started it so we can discuss it better.

I just received an ARC of Anticipating Spring – thanks so much to Tanya over at Girl Plus Books for hooking me up with the author!! And I picked up Simon just like you demanded!!! LOL!

Happy Reading,

  2. Illuminae is one of the few books (and series) I had to read in physical format. It really is a visual masterpiece, and one of my favorite series. I love McGee’s books. She brings the soapy drama like a pro, and I cannot wait to read the next American Royals book.

  3. Yay! I’m so glad you got a copy of Anticipating Spring! Lora emailed me to say that she’d got in touch with you. Hope you enjoy it! And I’ll be excited to see your thoughts on The Family Upstairs.
