O.W.L.S Readathon TBR

Hello Everyone! First let me say that I’ve been slacking with getting to my comments and blog hopping the last couple days. I promise I’ll catch up soon! I’ve been busy speeding through a couple books for my group reads and in between, I’ve been working on a puzzle with my kids. I’m squeezing this in while they’re all taking a break. My oldest went fishing with dad this afternoon. My hubs has really enjoyed getting to fish more with all the reduced hours. Anywho….I love a good readathon, and I haven’t come across one as exciting as Book Roast’s Magical Readathon. If you haven’t already heard about it in the past few years, or if you just want more info, you can find that HERE. I am just so excited about this!!

This year I chose Curse Breaker as my wizarding career. This includes the following (along with the books I chose) ~

Ancient Runes ~ Heart Rune: Heart on the cover or in the title

Arithmancey – Magical Qualities of number 2: balance/opposites – read something outside your favorite genre

Charms ~ Lumos Maxima: White Cover

Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ Grindylows: Book Set at the Sea/Coast

Potions ~ Shrinking Solution: book under 150 pages

Transfiguration ~ Animagus Lecture: Book/Series that includes Shapeshifting

So there you have it. That’s the books I plan on reading for my OWLs. While it’s only 6 books, it’ll still be quite a challenge since a couple aren’t in my usual genre, and two are fantasies. Fantasies can be fast paced, but usually they’re not, and I have no idea whether the two I picked are or not. So…. we’ll see if I get through all of these. I’ll be posting the rest of my April TBR soon. I can’t believe March is almost over!!

I hope you are all doing well out in the craziness that is our world today. If you need a shoulder, mine’s available!!

Happy Reading,

Alison
