Stacking the Shelves ~ 3/28/20

Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews/Reading Reality and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

The Kingdom of Back!! YAY! OwlCrate has been delivering when it comes to books on my wishlist! And a wireless speaker, which I’ve already made use of! Oh, and I’m always a fan of socks. The candle smells really good, too!

P.S. I really need to get caught up on my Marie Lu books!

It’s been months since I’ve read a Karina Halle, so I was excited to get this one, which I haven’t read yet.

Did you add anything to your shelves this week? Are you doing anything fun with your family to combat the quarantines, or are you in an area not heavily affected? I was reading what I wrote last week, and at that time we could freely leave our homes and see friends, but had to stay in groups less than 10. Now we’re only allowed to go for a walk (keeping a distance from others, of course), go to Dr./pharmacy, or to work if you’re an essential worker.

Happy Reading,
Alison

    • I have been sooo pleased with OwlCrate! They keep sending books I’ve been wanting to get my hands on and other awesome goodies. We’ve made a lot of use of that speaker this past week, too! It has pretty good volume for such a little thing!

  2. It’s crazy how quickly things are changing. We’re all constantly adjusting to a new normal – and then another.

Can’t wait to see your thoughts on Anticipating Spring. 🙂

    • I know! Everyday it’s like there’s something else to adjust to. After reading your thoughts, I’d say we had very similar opinions! You hit on a lot of my thoughts in your review. Hopefully I’ll have mine posted soon.
