April showers bring May flowers???? I surely hope not. It seems we can’t go more than 2 days without rain and lots of it. So much that those 2 days are definitely not enough to dry things out, and I’d really like to spend some more time outside. I have been a homebody for years, so this quarantine hasn’t been a major adjustment for me on that front. But I do love spending time out in nature. I’m a country girl and I enjoy spending time out in my woods. I’m really missing that. But, hey, Anne Frank and so many others endured so much worse. Today’s a beautiful day here, though, so I’m going to enjoy it!
Now let’s see how I did with my March TBR. I’m really quite surprised that I did as well as I did considering all the craziness!

I finished Illuminae and The Ones Who Got Away. Technically I didn’t finish The Ones Who Got Away until this morning, but hey, I still finished it. Unfortunately I didn’t get to Violent Triumphs or Brightly Burning.

I finished The Diary of a Young Girl and Truly Madly Royally. I didn’t get to Lucky Caller or Crispin.

I started each of these except House of Earth and Blood. The only reason I haven’t started it is because I have a hold on it with the library that I’m waiting to come through. I’m still reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January.

I finished all of these! Two of these are new to me authors, and I enjoyed them, so that was really exciting!!
I finished 10 out of 16. And I started one more, but just haven’t finished it yet. Not bad! BUT, I also read and/or finished The Bromance Book Club, A Gentleman in Moscow, The Simple Wild, The Bear and the Nightingale, Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda, The Family Upstairs, American Royals, Red Winter and The Call of the Wild this month. That’s a total of 19 books read this month. That’s a decent reading month for sure!
Favorite Book this Month ~
Simon was just all the warm and fuzzies I needed right now!
Now on to April’s TBR. I wonder how I’ll do??? I have been an even moodier reader than normal with the state of the world today. But, I’m also really excited about O.W.L.s! I’m determined to at least complete the books for that!!
Happy Reading,
Alison
Great post! Getting through ten books is awesome! 🙂

10 out of 16 is a pretty great number of reads 🙂 Glad to hear that you also enjoyed most of them! How are you going with 10k Doors of January? I still need to read that one… Lol you’ve also just reminded me that I wanted to check out this series by Jessica Hawkins! 😂

I’m close to 20% into 10K Doors and so far it’s slow going. I’ve just been reading little bits at a time because I’m not too into it, but I don’t want to put it down because I can’t quite tell if it’s going to get better.

I’ve also been more of a mood reader lately!
