Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! How are y’all doing today? I have been tearing my house apart. I am full on spring cleaning and rearranging. We have a loft that had been more of storage room than anything, but my daughter wanted to turn it into a hang out room, and well things just bled out from there. My dining part of my kitchen is a disaster because that’s where everything goes that doesn’t yet have a place. We have hauled out old furniture and tons and tons of trash, though. Any hoarding tendencies I might have had 20 years ago are long gone. If I haven’t used it in years, out it goes!

I’m also changing the room that was my library, and now I’m making two other rooms partial libraries. The original room is outdoors and while it is insulated, I was still having some humidity issues out there, and I don’t want to lose books to mold. Needless to say, I’m reorganizing all my bookshelves. Here’s the one in my bedroom that I’ve been tackling this morning (not yet finished) ~

I gave up on The Ten Thousand Doors of January right now. I need books that just suck me in faster right now. All the Stars and Teeth hasn’t gotten any attention in days, but I’ve been doing very little sitting with all the major rearranging taking place. Once I get some more seat time I’ll decide if I want to continue with it or put it down. I don’t yet feel like I’ve read enough to say that I even gave it a chance yet. Gemina is really getting most of my attention since I’m listening to it while cleaning. And I agree with all of you that recommended the audio version of this series. It’s pretty good! I still think the physical copy is the best way to go, but it’s definitely a close second. I’ll start Echoes Between Us tonight on my kindle.

I really enjoyed The Cruel Prince and I’m looking forward to continuing the series! The Convent’s Secret was more angst-filled than the previous books in it’s series, but was good. I’ll be stopping with this series for now, though, so I can’t get any more of them from the library. Thankfully this one really wrapped things up nicely, and didn’t leave me dying for the next book! I would have been very unhappy!! LOL!

Or something else….you just never know…because I don’t even know.

I have only read 3 of the books on my April TBR. That’s a VERY rare thing for me half a month in. I usually stray from my TBR, but not quite as much as this. But, at least I’m finding some books I can get lost in!

What are your WWWs today???

Happy Reading,

  1. I totally agree that reading the physical books of the Illuminae series is definitely the way to go but I think if you can listen to it while reading the physical copy, it just enhances it even more! It’s such an amazing series 😍 Hope you continue to enjoy your reads!

    • I bet that would be totally awesome! I might have to go back and do that one day! The audio definitely added a new element, especially in Gemina where they could keep playing that stupid song. LOL!

      • LOL OMG THAT SONG! I kind of do but also kind of don’t want to hear what it sounds like?! 😂 I’m worried that it’ll end up stuck in my head as well haha

      • HaHaHa! Yes, it only took me 2 days to listen to it because I had it constantly playing while I’ve been working on reorganizing my house. But, in those 2 days was all it took! I am still hearing that song in my head! LOL!

  2. Wow, that’s some serious work happening at your house! Hope you’re happy with the end result. 🙂 I loved The Cruel Prince and that ending had me dying for the next book.
