Alison here ~
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

I’m not too far into Summer of ’69. I’m reading that and The Screwtape Letters with a group of friends. I finally read some more of All the Stars and Teeth, and I’m hoping to read more of it today. I can see a lot of potential, so hopefully it doesn’t disappoint once I really get into it.
The Hating Game sucked me in pretty quickly and it’s been a fun read, but I’m only 23% into it, so we’ll see if that remains to be the case. I’m listening to Lady Midnight. It’s a reread and I’m loving it just as much as I did the first time around. This was another case of me waiting too long to pick up the next book, and I had forgotten so many details. Glad I decided to reread this one!

These are just some of the possiblities. I definitely plan on starting The Flatshare since I just downloaded it after my hold came through from the library. I start it as soon as I’m finished with The Hating Game. The others are toss ups among others. Who knows???
Happy Reading,
Alison
Ooh, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Screwtape Letters; I bought it ages ago and haven’t had the chance to read.

I was gifted The Hating Game ages ago and still haven’t read it (despite everyone raving about it).

It was one I had put off for a while, but I have no idea why. I am loving it!! Maybe I subconsciously knew I needed to save it for now! It has definitely provided a few good laughs.

Ah, so many great books! Loved The Hating Game and just purchased a physical copy as I read it on my Kindle the first two times. I hope you love The Flatshare too ❤ Such good and warm feels! I also really enjoyed Serpent & Dove (oh, the enemies-to-lovers in that!) but I'm hoping to re-read it again before the second book comes out. Looking forward to seeing what you finally think of All the Stars and Teeth as well! Hope it doesn't disappoint 😀

I am loving The Hating Game for sure! I’ve seen so many great reviews for both The Flatshare and Serpent & Dove. I read just a little bit more of All the Stars and Teeth. Things are starting to happen but I haven’t yet been able to connect to the MC. I’m still early in, though. We’ll see.
