I have finished 6 chapters of Shadow of the Fox at the time of writing this. I’m at 22%. I’m starting to get a feel for the main characters now, but I am still really wanting some character connection in the story. It feels a bit like the Daevabad series feels for me. In that series I absolutely love it when the characters all come together, but when they’re doing their own thing…not so much.
I’ll have started Dating You Hating You by the time this goes live, but I haven’t as of the time I’m typing this up. I have high hopes for it!
I’m was only one chapter into House of Earth and Blood before I zonked out last night, but it was an intriguing first chapter and I’m definitely looking forward to more.
I don’t have anything new to say about my other reads at the moment except to say that I’ve made progress on Summer of ’69 and Lord of Shadows this week.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING? (Since IMWAYR)

This was a 4 star read for me. You can catch my review HERE if you’d like to check it out.

Maybe one of these?? I honestly couldn’t say for sure. I’ve been very much at the mercy of what’s currently on my shelves or available through library apps since I’m wanting to hoard my money right now. I have allowed myself one 99 cent kindle book this week.
What are your WWWs today???
Happy Reading,
Alison
I vote on Love Lettering 😀 Haha I enjoyed Dating You Hating You and it’s actually one of the only CLo books that I’ve seen as a physical copy here so I scooped it right up! Hope your current read (Wicked Fox) picks up soon. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that one!

I am so looking forward to Love Lettering! And Shadow of the Fox picked up right after the 20% mark, and it’s so very good!

That’s some fun looking books. I’m reading the Murderbot series and really enjoying them. Finally able to concentrate and finish a book. LOL

Yay!! So glad that you’re able to get into a book now!! I am finding myself slowly being less picky about my reading. Not completely there, though.

Summer of ’69 is the only one I would say isn’t that great for me. I am enjoying all the others, though!

I love getting my books from the library, it’s such a strange time, it’s good to keep an eye on the future. I really enjoyed the audiobook for Nina Hill,

Yes it is! My oldest is in college and we’re trying to put him through debt free, so I’m being as frugal as possible right now not knowing what the future holds.

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed My Favorite Half-Night Stand! I’ve been meaning to try more of their books and I’ll definitely keep that one in mind now. Happy reading! xx

If you’re looking to try one of their books, then I definitely recommend Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating. It has by far been my favorite of theirs – of the ones I’ve read, at least.

If you gave Half-Night Stand 4 stars, you will like Dating You / Hating You for sure. I read Love Her or Lose Her and really enjoyed it. I won Love Lettering in a contest, but haven’t gotten it yet.

I have started Dating You Hating You, but I haven’t gotten far enough in yet to know for sure how I’ll feel about it. I’m hopeful, though. Glad you enjoyed Love Her of Lose Her, and I hope we both enjoy Love Lettering!!

Dating You Hating You is a Christina Lauren book that doesn’t seem to get as much attention as many of their others. I’ll be interested to see what you think of it. Love Lettering is one I’m very excited about! I have a hard copy just ready and waiting to be picked up.

I agree that it hasn’t gotten near as much hype as their others. I’m not far enough in to know how I’ll feel about it yet. I am very much looking forward to Love Lettering, too!! I’m hoping to check it out from the library as soon as I am caught up on reading the books that holds came through for. I already checked to make sure my library had it and that there was no hold on it. Hope you love it!!
