Alison here ~
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

I am very much enjoying Guernsey (currently 57%) and 99 Percent Mine (31%). All the Stars and Teeth remains to be just enough to keep me hanging on. Clare had me ready to spit nails with the end of the last book and the beginning of Queen of Air and Darkness, but she has seriously sucked me in. I have been listening to over 6 hours a day of the audiobook. That’s a LOT of audiobook listening for me. I generally only squeeze in 2 to 3 hours a day while doing chores or the occasional drive somewhere. Needless to say, I’m addicted!!

My hold came through on Love and Other Words, so I’ll start it as soon as I’m finished with 99 Percent Mine. The others are just upcoming possibilities.
Happy Reading,
Alison

Ooh, Love and Other Words was my first CLo and I remember being loving it so much (I kinda went in blind with this one)! I hope you enjoy it 😀 Also, that really is a lot of audiobook listening! I’m guessing the narrator is good?

The narrator is definitely good! I often wonder how he can be the same guy. I’ve been thinking about looking up his face out of curiosity. And I wonder which voice is really his. LOL!

I had Timid on my Kindle just waiting for me but I want to get through the Jamison Valley series first. Love and Other Words is tied for my very favorite by Christina Lauren. Loved it!

I will have to get to the Jamison Valley series soon. I am starting Love and Other Words today. I’m really hoping I love it as much as you!! If I don’t have another hold come through, I’ll probably start Timid after that.

Glad you are enjoying your reads minus All the Stars. I had a hard time getting into that one.

Yeah, it’s okay while I’m reading it, and I keep thinking it’s about to pick up. That keeps me reading, but so far it just hasn’t picked up.

Yeah, that’s how I was. It has its good moments but it’s just never great.
