The Sunday Post ~ 6/7/20

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Personal Highlights:

I’ve pretty much spent the week trying to prepare for our little vacation. It looks like we’re going to unfortunately be dealing with lots of rain. But, I’m hoping that just being away for a little while will be a blessing. I do still hope to get in SOME outdoors time. Fingers crossed!

Oh, and my daughter managed to flood our utility room this week with her 2 hour shower. It was an easy fix and fortunately we have tile floors and cedar walls, so no long-term harm done.

    • LOL! I’m sure I’m exaggerating, but we have been getting on to her for taking way too long in the shower. She has really long hair so I know it takes her forever to tackle it and shave and all, but she’s been going overboard. I like to take really long showers, and she has me beat. But, thanks!!

  2. Hopefully you’ll get at least a few days of good weather. But even if you don’t, a change of scenery will be great. And rainy days are perfect for binge reading. 🙂

    • With the storm moving east of where they originally predicted, we only had a couple mild showers. I even got sunburned! But, I was able to take advantage of some reading time during the brief showers!
