#IMWAYR ~ 6/22/20

Alison here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

  2. I haven’t read The Tattooist of Auschwitz but I did read Cilka’s Journey (the author’s follow up). I know there’s some controversy surrounding it but I thought is was incredibly powerful. Seeing Stone Cold Touch makes me want to read the whole trilogy all over again. 🙂

    • I definitely want to check out Cilka’s Journey. I bet just knowing what I know of her from The Tattoist that it must be pretty impactful. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to put down Stone Cold Touch for now or go ahead. I pretty much spoiled the whole series reading The Harbinger series first. I might wait to see if I forget some of the details to pick it up, so that it packs a bigger punch. I just haven’t decided yet. I think I’ll read a little bit of it tonight and see how I feel about it.
