Top 5 Saturday: Hyped Books

Top 5 Saturday is a weekly meme started by Devouring Books. This week’s topic is Hyped Books. You can find the upcoming topics at the bottom of the post.

For this week’s topic I decided to check out Goodreads Most Popular Books Published in 2020, which you can find HERE. I mean, you can’t get more hyped than that, right? I’m sharing 5 books from their top 50 that I am most excited to read! *Note ~ their list is updated weekly so it is subject to change between the time I’m creating this post and now.*

The Upcoming Top 5 Saturday Schedule Is:

7/18/20 — Books you Own

7/25/20 — #OwnVoices Books

Which hyped books are you most wanting to get your hands on? Which hyped books of 2020 have you read and loved?

Happy Reading,

  1. Beach Read was very hyped, but I have to say, I enjoyed so much. I cannot think of any books that are being hyped right now that I am interested in, but there’s a plethora I am looking to read.

  2. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is getting a lot of hype, but for me it’s just been SO long since I read The Hunger Games that I just am not super excited. The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires does sound really cool though!

  4. Beach Read and The Southern Book Club’s Guide to slaying Vampire, this two are my most hyped books. Everyone keeps talking about them and keep recommending them, especially Beach Read, it is everywhere.

  5. Mine are The Book of Lost Friends, The Vanishing Half, Mexican Gothic, The Sun Down Motel, and The Glass Hotel. I’ve already read My Dark Vanessa and The Girl With the Louding Voice.
