#SixforSunday ~ Wintery Colors

#SixforSunday is hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot. Every week there is a bookish-themed prompt to inspire 6 choices.

Today’s topic is Wintery Colors. For a list of upcoming topics, check out the bottom of this post. 🙂

I am enjoying this week’s topic. It definitely has me longing for colder weather!! When I think of winter colors, I tend to think of whites, blues, and grays. So here are 6 books  that I’m hoping to read at some point with covers that have wintery colors (in my opinion).

Upcoming Topics ~

August: Let’s celebrate colour!

9th: Spring colours
16th: Summer colours
23rd: Autumnal colours
30th: Your favourite colour!

September: Characters ahoy #2

6th: ‘Clever’ characters
13th: Good role models
20th: Brave main characters
27th: Devious main characters

I’m in Louisiana in the U.S. and it’s currently hot, humid, and all summer. But I know some of you are from completely different parts of the world. So I’m curious, what season are you currently experiencing? What season are you wishing you were experiencing? And what colors make you think of winter?

Happy Reading,

Alison

  1. I think of the same colors. I live in Rhode Island, and it is hot, humid, and super sunny right now. I am not a fan. I prefer autumn – not too hot, not too cold, perfect sweater weather. 🙂

  2. I definitely think of blues, whites, and grays for winter. I read Library of Lost Things. It was cute, and I want to read more of Backman’s books. They have such a quiet beauty to them.

  3. I think of those same color for winter. The cover of the Winter Witch definitely looks wintery. And with it being 95 degrees here and 90% humidity… I wish it was winter!
