#IMWAYR ~ 8/3/20

Alison here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

I can’t believe I’ve finished 5 books since Wednesday! 2 were 4 star reads: The Printed Letter Bookshop and The Little Bookshop on the Seine, and the other 3 were all 5 star reads for me. Definitely an awesome reading week! I just finished The Book of Lost Names this morning. That book just totally pulls on the heartstrings!

I have only just started The Secret Garden, and I’ll be starting Wundersmith later today.

Becoming Mrs. Lewis is already downloaded onto my phone for me to listen to it after I finish The Secret Garden. And, The Marriage Game and Written in Read are both sitting on my kindle for when I finish Wundersmith. Other than that, who knows??

Happy Reading,

  1. Ooh I’m quite excited to read Boyfriend Material! So glad that you enjoyed it. Also I’ve heard so many amazing things about A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder — I really need to bump it up my TBR don’t I? I really hope you’re enjoying Wundersmith! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it 😀
