WWW Wednesday ~ 8/12/20

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m reading a physical copy of Savaged, so I haven’t made much headway with it. I will probably have to wait until the weekend before I get any more time to read it. Most of my reading time happens at night in bed with a kindle, or audiobooks while working during the day. Written in Red is my current kindle copy, but the last few nights I’ve found myself with just over an hour left of the books I’ve been listening to during the day and the need to stick some earbuds in to finish them while playing on my phone at night. I haven’t read enough of Written in Red yet for it to be calling to me at night.

Number Neighbors was such a fun quick read with the most hilarious grandma! I haven’t finished Ice Planet Barbarians as of the time I’m typing this, but it’s short, so I definitely anticipate finishing it before this post goes live.

Or possibly something else…

What are your WWWs today???

Happy Reading,

  2. Love Anne Bishop’s Other Series, I hope you’ll enjoy it :D, I’ve listened to the audiobooks and read the books the regular way and loved them both. Meg and Simon, and everyone else at the Lakeside Court had me captivated non-stop.

    • It took me just a little bit to get connected to the characters because it’s written in a soap opera style. But, by about 20% I was all in and completely addicted by the end! I can’t wait to get to the next book.

  3. I feel like I’ve seen Written in Red quite a lot recently and I’m not sure where. Was it on your blog or was it on other blogs as well? Either way, my interest is piqued! Looking forward to hearing what you think of it 😀

  4. I love Mia Sheridan but haven’t read Savaged yet. It’s been sitting on my Amazon wish list for ages. And you know I love Written in Red. 🙂 I’ve listened to the entire series at least three times now.

    • I’m only about 30 pages into Savaged right now, but I’m already hooked and wishing I could squeeze more hours into my day to have time to read it. The weekend’s almost here, though, so I’ll have some time to spend with it. It took me a little bit to connect to the characters in Written in Red with the soap opera style it’s written in, but by about the 20% mark I was all in. Sam has just wrapped me around his little finger, and I can’t wait to pick up the next book!!
