WWW Wednesday ~ 9/23/20

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve been a little MIA over the past few days. And well, honestly, that’s because I’ve been spending every spare second buried in Midnight Sun. It’s been everything I’d hoped it would be! My awesome mother got it for me for my birthday, so I didn’t have to keep waiting on my hold to come through. I’m hoping to finish it today, and then I can proceed with life as usual.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

Or possibly something else…

What are your WWWs today???

Happy Reading,
Alison

    • Thanks! I gave Charming as a Verb a solid 4 stars. I had a strong start and then I began losing interest around the middle, but then it picked back up. It’s a lot of focus on the pressures of getting into college and the specific college of your choice. While I enjoyed it, I think I would have liked to see a little more growth in the characters or maybe more of a lesson learned.

      • Ooh great to know! I’ll be keeping it on my radar because it does look really cute although the lack of lesson learned does have some caution bells going. Will be aware of that picking this up so I can lower expectations lol 🙂

      • It’s not so much that a lesson isn’t learned, but there wasn’t a lot of focus on the growth. But, I did wish that there would have been a little bit of focus on that fact that the university that they went to didn’t have to be a make-it or break-it sort of deal.
