Happy Monday! I hope all of y’alls weeks are off to a good start. I know it’s been a few days since I’ve posted. I’ve been super busy, but it hasn’t all been bad. Tomorrow I take my FIL to get a port put in. I’ll take him to get his first round of chemo on Wednesday. Prayers are definitely appreciated!
This weekend I’m going camping with my family. We already had this planned, but it’ll definitely be a nice way to destress a little. My oldest son is participating in a disc golf tournament at the park we’re staying at. Right now it looks like the weather will be perfect for the weekend, so I’m praying it stays that way!
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK
(Since WWW)

Well Played
Crave
The One Night Stand Next Door
I have to take a minute here just to say that I’m so thankful that I finally had enough time to finish some books!!
WHAT I’M READING NOW

I am thoroughly engrossed in From Blood and Ash right now, so it’s definitely getting most of my attention at the moment. I’m also listening to Empire High Untouchables, but for some reason I couldn’t get the pic to load today.
WHAT I’M READING NEXT

These are just some of my options at the moment. I’m really looking forward to The Roommate and Fable. I’m hoping to get to both of them soon. And one of my besties is really pushing me to hurry up and read Majesty so we can talk about it.
Happy Reading,

From Blood and Ash is definitely high on my tbr but the length of the book scares me! Haha. Glad you are enjoying it.

It was such a fast paced read for me that I didn’t even realize how long it was until someone later pointed it out. I loved every page of it!

I hope you enjoy the much-needed weekend getaway! Sounds like the whole family could use some time away. I just started the audio version of Spoiler Alert yesterday and I’m loving it!

Glad to see you posting and that it’s not all bad in life right now, Ali! Hope you have a great weekend camping–sounds like it’ll be so nice to get out in the open! Glad to hear you’re enjoying From Blood and Ash. I’ve been wanting to read it so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it 🙂 Hope you enjoy Fable, too!

Thanks, Dini!! I did get to enjoy camping, but it was chaos after that, so I’m just now getting back on here. I loved From Blood and Ashes and promptly ripped through the second book as well. Can’t wait for the next book!! I’m hoping to start Fable today.
