Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.
We got some fantastic news on my father-in-law today. His main tumor in his lungs has shrunk to less than half the size since starting treatment. So, we’ll continue with the immunotherapy every 3 weeks. We’ll be meeting with another doctor next week to check on the MRI results to see how the cancer cells in his brain are looking after the radiation. We’re praying for great results there, as well, of course.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK
(Since yesterday’s Sunday Post)
I hope to have a review up on this one soon. No promises. It really just depends on how I’m feeling. I’m dealing with some cramps this afternoon. I might end up taking a hot shower and just lying in bed with a book for a while, or sitting out on my porch. It’s such a pretty day here right now.
WHAT I’M READING NOW
I’ll most likely finish One Night Only today. It’s not especially good, but it’s a short read. I made some progress on The House in the Cerulean Sea and These Violent Delights today.
WHAT I’M READING NEXT
These are just some of the upcoming options I’m looking at. I’ll definitely be picking up Not My Match for my March TBR, but who knows after that. I’ve been such a mood reader the last few days.
How’s your Monday going???
Happy Reading,
That’s great news about your father in law. I hope y’all get even more great news with the MRI results. Will you be reading Shadow and Bone for the first time or will this be a reread for you?

I can’t wait to see what you think of it. I enjoyed the trilogy more than I did the SoC duopoly which is an unpopular opinion.

Wow! Yeah, I can’t see it being as good for me because I love SoC so much! LOL! I’m looking forward to it!

Yeah most people don’t enjoy it as much. I hope you end up enjoying it at least.

I have a feeling you’re going to love Klune’s book. Or at least I did. I’m also curious to read your review of The Locker Room.

That’s great news about your FIL, Ali! Hope all results continue to be positive/better ❤️
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Locker Room but it looks like you enjoyed it, too 😃 Also, The House in the Cerulean Sea! I hope you’re loving it!!! Is that the last book in the Glass and Steele book by the way? LOL I think I stopped after book 3 or 4 cos I didn’t feel things were happening fast enough (especially the romance, urgh! LOL) but I do wanna pick it up again if this is the last book 😂

Thanks so much, Dini! Hopefully I’ll get up some more reviews here soon. I am definitely enjoying The House in the Cerulean Sea! And, no, it’s not the last Glass and Steele book. It’s book 6 and book 11 was just published earlier this month. LOL! I’m expecting the romance stuff to be resolved with this book with the way things are going…but who knows?!? I’ve seen some reviewers whine that the books aren’t as interesting after they’re together. I’m just enjoying picking up one book every now and then for now.
