Top Ten Tuesday ~ Covers That Inspire a Trip by the Ocean

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start! Today’s Top Ten topic is Books I’d Gladly Throw Into the Ocean. But, you probably know by now that I prefer to talk about books I love/enjoy/want to read. So, I picked 10 books from my TBR with covers that inspire a trip by the ocean.

So that’s 10 books from my TBR that have me wanting to take a trip oceanside. I’m actually one of those that would prefer hiking in the mountains to lounging on the beach. But, I still enjoy a trip to the ocean on the occasion. I always find it a humbling experience.

I’ve been out for a few days now. Yesterday we celebrated my mom’s birthday and Easter over the weekend. My oldest son got a couple days off of school, so he got to come home for an extended weekend. And so, we had a lot of visiting and hanging out playing games over the weekend with very little time spent online. Today I’m out doing some more gardening with my mom, but I expect I’ll be able to catch up on comments and blog hopping soon. I hope everyone celebrating had a fantastic Easter and that the rest of you had a wonderful weekend, too.

So, I’m curious if any of you have read a book or seen a cover that had you wanting to take a trip oceanside. I love recommendations!!

Happy Reading,

Alison

  1. Great take on the prompt, Ali! The cutesy chicklit/romance covers that are set by the sea always make me want to go visit the ocean—especially when the setting is like a small, sleepy English beach town 😂 Love it!
