#IMWAYR ~ 4/12/21

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday with a crawfish boil Saturday. We had great weather for it, which we were grateful for after the nasty weather we had the night before.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

(Since WWW)

5 Stars

Yep, I have only finished one book since WWW last week. We had taken a few days off of school surrounding Easter, so I was playing catch up around here and didn’t get a ton of reading done. And I haven’t been doing a lot of reading at night lately but rather just falling right to sleep.

I’ll probably finish A Lady’s Formula for Love tonight. I’ve been reading it at night and it’s been slow going. I just started listening to The Fellowship of the Ring. I’ll probably finish up reading Prince Caspian to my kids tomorrow. We’re only reading Romeo and Juliet on our homeschool class days, so that’s slow going. We usually only get through a couple scenes every week. I’m also still slowly making my way through These Violent Delights. I usually get in a chapter or two a day. The other books I’ve put on hold for the moment, but I haven’t DNFed them.

These are just some of the possibilities. I’ll just have to see what I’m in the mood for.

How’s your Monday going???

Happy Reading,
