#IMWAYR ~ 4/26/21

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

(Since The Sunday Post)

I haven’t finished anything since my post yesterday. I did get some reading done on several books and started a new one since then, though. Progress!

I started Sick Heart yesterday because I was just in the mood for something dark, and fortunately this is just the sort of dark I was looking for (at least so far). I’m always a little nervous that they’ll be darker than I’m looking for. I’ve had some success with Huss in the past, and I already owned a kindle copy of this one that I hadn’t picked up yet, so I figured I’d give it a try.

These are just some of the possibilities. I’ll just have to see what I’m in the mood for.

How’s your Monday going???

Happy Reading,

  1. I had to hurry and finish the last 10 chapters of The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton today because I wasn’t able to renew it so I had to return it. I’m currently reading All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace and Jukebox Hero by Jason Stuart and I will most likely be starting Voyeur by Fiona Cole very soon.
