The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Highlights/Happenings
Monday I went fishing with the hubs and our daughter on Caddo Lake – they fished, I read. I already mentioned this in my May Wrap-Up since Monday was in May, so I’m sharing a different pic for you today.
I also mentioned that the hubs and I were supposed to go hiking this weekend, but our plans were rained out. So, last night we went with our kids and my mom to the movies for the first time in what felt like forever. I felt like celebrating, but my thoughts were still on all of those that are suffering in other areas right now. We watched A Quiet Place 2.
Other than that it was a typical week around here. I only watched one other movie this week and that was Underwater. As far as TV goes, I finally finished watching this season of The Voice and the last half of Shadow and Bone – I need MORE!!
Other hobbies ~ My daughter and I spent some time practicing piano this week. It’s been several months since we’ve played any. And I played a few games this week: Arcadia Quest, Dixit, Wingspan, Scythe, and Quacks of Quedlinburg. Here’s a pic of Wingspan ~

What I Read Last Week
Book of the Week
I just absolutely fell in love with this couple! A lot of times in rocker romances, one of the main characters does something that’s incredibly hard to forgive. I just following the cliche. But, I LOVED that that wasn’t the case for them.
Books Still in Progress
These are the books I have in progress right now, and I’m enjoying each of them.
What am I looking forward to this week?
The hubs and I will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary tomorrow. It’s crazy how the years have flown! I know how super blessed we are, though.
My besties and their families are coming over this weekend for our monthly game night.
Other than that I have to go through and see what my youngest two need for youth camp next week. There might be some shopping in our future.
How was your week?
Happy Reading,
Alison

Wow! Cheers to 23 years! How wonderful. That game looks really interesting and involved. I loved board games in my youth, but now I have nobody to play with. *sad face*

Thanks so much! It’s a fun game we play often and not too difficult or long like some of our others. If you lived closer I’d totally invite you over to play a game with us!!
