Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
********************************
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
WHAT I READ
(Since The Sunday Post)
WHAT I’M READING NOW
WHAT I’M READING NEXT
These are just a few of the options I’m keeping in mind. If you have any favorites that are Austen related in any way, I’d love to hear what they are! There are just so many options!
How’s your Monday going???
Happy Reading,
Looking forward to see what you think of The Crown’s Game! xx

I have been enjoying it, but I have it as an ebook on my phone, which isn’t the best way for me to read. So, it’s been a little slow going.

There are so many spinoffs of Austen’s novels! It’s hard to keep track, haha.

I’ve only ever read one Austen book and that was Persuasion.

I plan to reread Persuasion after I finish rereading Mansfield Park. Pride and Prejudice and Emma are my favorites by far of hers, though.

I tried reading Pride and Prejudice several years ago and didn’t get very far into. That was back when I was still new to classics. I do plan on giving it another try eventually as well as her other books.

I hope you enjoy it if you give it another try. I think Emma is the easiest of hers to read if you don’t have a lot of experience with her writing style. I find them all a lot easier to read now versus when I first read them, though.
