The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Highlights/Happenings
This past week was spent trying to get our lives back in order after being gone from home for so much of the summer so far. We made a lot of progress on the room switch for my daughter. She has almost all of her stuff moved into her new room, and we’re down to only having books lining one wall in her room. Hopefully we’ll get those moved downstairs this week.
And we celebrated our middle child turning 17 this week. We had a bunch of our friends over yesterday and had a nice cookout to celebrate him.

What’s happening this week?
This week we are expecting the delivery of my daughter’s new bed, and my brother is supposed to be installing bookshelves onto the back wall of my new library room. We’re trying to get all of the room changing done prior to starting our new school year. The kids are wanting to start school at the beginning of August, so we can finish earlier in the year. And that means I need to spend some time planning for school this week, too, and hunting down the books we’ll need for this year.
How was your week?
Happy Reading,
Alison

Hooray for having the room almost in order! It’ll feel great to finally have it all squared away. And new bookshelves is always a good thing. 🙂

It’ll definitely feel awesome once we get everything done! And I’m for sure looking forward to the new bookshelves. I know they’ll give me a lot more space for books. I’m just really hoping we can pull it all off before we have to get started on our school year.

Glad to hear you have been enjoying that summer and you had a nice birthday celebration for the middle child. Always fun, especially if there’s cake. I read one Kendall Ryan book, a Hot Jocks book. It was fun. I am sure I will read more. I loved that Loren book. Makes me so happy to see if was your best of the week.

I have read several of Kendall’s books now (though not any of the Hot Jocks books), but this was probably my least favorite of them. I enjoyed it enough to finish the book, but it just felt underdeveloped a bit. And yes, Loren’s book was a definite winner!

We have been, but it’s good to be home again. I know we only have a couple weeks until we get started back for school, so for now I’m just rushing around trying to get everything back in order. And thanks! He did have a great birthday, and I’ll probably need some luck finding all of our school books since my library is not finished yet. LOL!
