#IMWAYR ~ 7/26/21

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! And, I hope you’re not like this little boy with his Mondays, but rather that you’re enjoying your day! It’s crazy hot right now, so I watered my plants this morning and then fled indoors because I was already drenched in sweat after only watering my garden.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

WHAT I READ

(Since The Sunday Post)

WHAT I’M READING NOW

WHAT I’M READING NEXT

(Or More Appropriately: Things on my TBR)

I’m totally enjoying mood reading right now. I’m just reading whatever calls to me at the moment, and if it doesn’t suck me in, I’ll just put it down and move on the next (but I haven’t had to do much of that fortunately). These are just a few of the books on my TBR that I hope to be in the mood to pick up soon. LOL!

How’s your Monday going???

Happy Reading,

Alison

    • It’s been so long since I’ve read an Amish book, and I was just really in the mood for one. It’s three separate stories from the same town written by 3 different Brunstetters, Wanda, Jean, and Richelle. I really enjoyed the first book, the second is okay, but not as great as the first. I’m curious to see where it’ll go, though. And then I’ll be on to the 3rd book. Hope we both enjoy House of Salt and Sorrows when we get to it!
