Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Today’s Top Ten topic is a Freebie. So, I decided to go with books I loved in the past but don’t remember. I guess I need to revisit them now.
I had hoped to get this post up earlier, but I was getting my For Sale page back up and running after rearranging all of my shelves. That was a major task! The pics suck on that page, but they’ll work for now until I can squeeze in more time.
**************************
I do need to point out that if I read the blurb or old reviews I could probably recall the stories (hopefully), but just looking at the covers, I’m drawing blanks. I can recall how some of them made me feel, though.
Upcoming Topics
October 5: Bookish Pet Peeves
October 12: Favorite Book Settings
October 19: Online Resources for Book Lovers (what websites, podcasts, apps, etc. do you use that make your reading life better?)
October 26: Halloween Freebie

This is a great topic! I have read a lot of books that I barely remember just by looking at the covers.

Great list! You’ve reminded me I still need to read The Law Of Moses…

I can remember how it made me feel, but I can’t remember the story. I need to reread it!

HaHa! I think it happens to all of us.

Haha, I feel like if I made a list like this it would be long!

LOL! If I listed all of the books I didn’t remember…yeah, it’d be quite long.

Great topic, Alison! The only one of these I’ve read is The Air He Breathes. I remember the highlights and the general story but I’m sure I’ve forgotten details. The Law of Moses is still on my TBR.

Thanks! I can’t even remember the highlights at this point. LOL! I can recall how The Law of Moses made me feel, but I can’t remember the story. I’ll definitely have to reread that one.

There are so, so many books that I read and loved, but basically have zero recollection of what happened in them. Glad I’m not the only one this happens to! These all look like great books. Definitely going to have to check them out!

LOL! You’re definitely not the only one!! It seems a lot of us have this problem.

My list for this topic would be endless cos my memory is so bad! I’d probably still be able to recall what most made me feel but a lot of the times not as well lol. I have The Air He Breathes on my TBR and I’m curious to try the author’s work!

LOL! It seems a lot of us big readers forget a lot of what we read. Brittainy’s books can be hit and miss for me. Some I’ve loved and some just had a little too much angst for me. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it. Wish I could remember it…

I read The Air He Breathes and I can totally call up those feelings just thinking about it. I don’t tend to remember specifics, but if the book made an impression, I can recall how it made me feel.

Yes, I can remember how several of these made me feel, but I can’t recall any details.

Honestly for me I forget pretty much everything I’ve read. My memory it awful. I’m sure if I read my review or the synopsis I remember some stuff but not much.

I can remember the gist of Cherry and Harmon’s books, which is pretty good for me. Normally, I’m bad at remembering!

I can remember feelings I had during Harmon’s but I don’t remember much at all of the book. I never finished the series. I’m gonna have to reread the first book first. I’m definitely bad at remembering, too!

I don’t think you would necessarily have to reread to enjoy the next one.

Good to know! I’ll probably still end up rereading it at some point, though.

I have so many books that I hardly remember! It’s almost scary how many there are… I guess the more we read it’s gonna happen sometimes, right?
Fun list!
