#IMWAYR ~ 12/20/21

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! We went to see the new Spider Man yesterday and LOVED it! No worries, I won’t be posting any spoilers here.

Are all of you that celebrate ready for Christmas? I can’t wait. It’ll be so good to have my oldest home from college for a couple weeks and the hubs will be on vacation at the same time. I’m one happy momma! That being said, I know there are just so many people suffering right now, so I’m making sure they stay in my thoughts and prayers.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

WHAT I READ

It’s been a couple weeks since I posted one of these, so keep that in mind. 🙂

WHAT I’M READING NOW

I am almost done with The Bridge Kingdom! Then I plan on focusing on North and South. I still have a ton of other books in progress, too.

WHAT I’M READING NEXT

(Or More Appropriately: Things on my TBR)

These are some of the many options. I don’t know how I haven’t managed to start any of these yet.

How’s your Monday going???

Happy Reading,

Alison

    • After the cliffhanger of The Bridge Kingdom, I can’t wait to read Traitor Queen! Credence was a weird book for me. It was so bad (forbidden, naughty, etc.), but so addictive. It was a train wreck I couldn’t look away from. LOL! It took me a bit to get into The Heart Principle, but I found myself connected to the story during the second half. I’d say it’s more about Anna’s mental health than anything else. It’s more women’s fic than romance. I wish Quan would have gotten more time in the story.
