Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Happy Wednesday!
I hope everyone’s having a great week! Am I the only one that feels like the last couple weeks have flown by? I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
I expect that I’ll finish both The One and Tempting Taste within the next couple days. They are both fighting for my attention right now. War and Peace will be one that I’ll be reading for the rest of the year. I’m buddy reading it, and it has 365 chapters, so we’re reading a chapter a day. I’m also enjoying The Year of the Witching and The Not-So-Uniform Life of Holly-Mei.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I didn’t do a WWW post last week, so these are all of the books I’ve finished so far this year. The blank book is a placeholder for Nadia’s Nemesis by Amanda Zook. It’s a novella you can only get through her newsletter, and a cover hasn’t been put on Goodreads for it, even though there’s a cover on the ecopy she sends to subscribers.
It’s been a fantastic reading year so far! Three of these were five star reads for me: North and South, Paris is Always a Good Idea, and Time. Hell Hath No Fury and Space were both 4 1/2 stars.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT

These are just a handful of the many possibilities I have awaiting me. Who knows what I’ll actually pick up next.
What are your WWW’s today???
Happy Reading,
Alison
I’ve never heard of Erin Wright but something about Blizzard of Love is appealing to me. Guess I’m in the mood for a cowboy romance!

I’m pretty sure the whole series is a cowboy series. Blizzard of Love is a novella, but I believe the rest are full length. I think it lacked some being a novella, but it felt like it would have been much better as a full length novel. So, I’m curious to check out the rest of the series.

Wow War & Peace is 365 chapters. That makes me not want to read it lol. But hopefully one day I will. I started Again, but Better by Christine Riccio last night. I’m only 5 chapters into it so far but I’m really enjoying it so far. I’ve had a slow start to my reading this month because of being sick with COVID unfortunately. Luckily I am better so I am hoping things will start picking up.

I’m very curious about the Year of the Witchling. I hope you enjoy your current reads!

The Year of the Witching has been interesting. I’m thinking that it’d probably be a bit too dark for your tastes, though. It’s flirting with the edge of what I’m okay with. LOL!

Ooh that’s brilliant that North & South was a 5 star read for you, it’s a firm favourite of mine too! It seems to break a lot of new ground considering it was written such a long time ago, and I love the protagonist Margaret. I’m intrigued to know how you get on with War & Peace as well, it’s a book I’ve always wanted to attempt but have been too intimidated! 📚❤️ X x x

There’s definitely a lot in North and South that’s still relevant today!! War and Peace is for sure intimidating. I’ll be taking all year to read it, though, so I don’t feel like the task is too daunting. Plus reading it with friends always helps!
