Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. My besties came over Saturday, and we got to share all of the books we’ve read since our last get together. And to discuss the books we’re group reading. And we played Mind the Gap, a quiz game, with our hubbies afterwards. So, it was, of course, a lot of fun.

It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

WHAT I READ

It was a fantastic reading week for me. I only finished 3 books, but at least I LOVED them all! Bound by Firelight and Luca Vitiello were both 4.5 stars for me. Electric Idol was a 5-star read!

If I have time, I want to do a discussion post on Bound by Firelight. It won’t be a review because it’ll be full of spoilers. I want to rave and rant a bit with those of you that read it. I know I’ve been talking to a lot of you about it.

WHAT I’M READING NOW

This isn’t a complete list of my current reads, but it’s the most recent ones I’ve started. I’m rereading House of Earth and Blood in prep for House of Sky and Breath, which I absolutely can’t wait for, with the SJM Collectors Community on FB. And I’m reading through Cora Reilly’s mafia books with the (unofficial) Cora Reilly book club on FB. And I recently started Challenge of Hades, the sequel to Thanatos, after enjoying that. But, I’m a little annoyed with the triangle situation happening. It’s an ebook, and so is Cursed Love, so they’ll probably be put on the back burner for a bit while I finish rereading House of Earth and Blood on my kindle.
